Muiderslot is located at the mouth of the Vecht River, near the IJsselmeer. First, you used to see the sailing ships of the Dutch East India Company sailing by from the Zuiderzee. Later, many modern sailing ships pass through this traditionally strategically located historic site. Thanks to its unique location, the Castle was and is a special sampling place for an unforgettable reception.

Fort Island Pampus is the most famous part of the Defence Line of Amsterdam. In the 1950s, Pampus lost its military significance and was purchased by the Pampus Foundation. A boat trip to Fort Island Pampus is highly recommended. Arriving at the fort island, you will be welcomed by the fort guards. Then the guide will lead you around the mysterious vaults for about an hour.
