The Windjammers and hundreds of other great sailing ships are coming to Amsterdam again! SAIL Amsterdam 2025 (August 20 to 24) is Europe’s largest maritime festival.
Ships, singing sailors in the mast, fantastic fireworks, delicious meals and exciting stories of distant shores. On the last day of SAIL 2025, the impressive Tall Ships leave the port of Amsterdam. During this closing ceremony, thousands of fans wave goodbye to the ships and their crews. The crews climb the yards and along with all the colorful flags and pennants make for a fantastic picture. Accompany the ships during this spectacular exit aboard one of the official SAIL ships.
