What is the Amsterdam Light Festival Pizza & Prosecco Cruise?

The Pizza & Prosecco Cruise is a 1.5-hour private Amsterdam Light Festival cruise for groups from 15 guests. You’ll enjoy the festival from your own covered and heated historic boat, with one freshly baked stone-oven pizza per person and a welcome glass of Prosecco included.

Is the boat private?

Yes. The boat is exclusively reserved for your group. You will not share the boat with other ticket guests.

Additional drinks can be ordered separately or you can add an unlimited drinks package for the entire group.

The price depends on your group size:

• 15–25 guests: €69.50 p.p.
• 25+ guests: €67.50 p.p.

Prices exclude additional drinks unless you add an unlimited drinks package.

What is the minimum group size?

The Pizza & Prosecco Cruise package is available for groups from 15 guests.

For smaller groups, we can create a tailor-made private cruise or you can book tickets for our shared Amsterdam Light Festival cruise.

How long is the Pizza & Prosecco Cruise?

The cruise lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

This gives you time to experience the Amsterdam Light Festival route while enjoying your pizza and drinks on board.

Can we extend the cruise?

Yes. Subject to availability, you can extend your private cruise by 30 minutes for €14.50 p.p.

Extensions must be agreed in advance.

How many pizzas are included?

Each guest receives one freshly baked stone-oven pizza.

Can everyone choose their own pizza?

Yes. Guests can choose from six different pizzas. We recommend providing us with your final pizza selection in advance so everything can be prepared smoothly.

You can choose from:

• Margherita – Tomato, mozzarella & fresh basil
• Funghi & Pancetta – Mozzarella, Fontina cheese, chestnut mushrooms, pancetta, caramelised onion & parsley
• Tonno alla Puttanesca – Tomato, tuna, capers, red onion, Leccino olives, buffalo mozzarella & basil
• Spinaci – Tomato, mozzarella, goat cheese, spinach, balsamic red onion & pine nuts
• Vegan Gialla – Yellow datterini tomato sauce, courgette, artichoke, vegan cheese & yellow bell pepper
• Salami Finocchiona – Tomato, mozzarella & Tuscan fennel salami

Where are the pizzas prepared?

The pizzas are freshly prepared by a local pizzeria and collected along the cruise route, so they can be served fresh during your Amsterdam Light Festival cruise.

Are vegetarian pizzas available?

Yes. There are several vegetarian pizza options available.

Is there a vegan pizza option?

Yes. A vegan pizza option is available. Please let us know your requirements in advance.

Are gluten-free pizzas available?

Yes. Gluten-free options are available on request. Please inform us in advance so we can arrange this with the pizzeria.

Are lactose-free pizzas available?

Yes. Lactose-free options can be arranged on request. Please provide dietary requirements in advance.

Can you accommodate allergies and dietary requirements?

We can accommodate many dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free options.

Is Prosecco included?

Yes. The package includes one welcome glass of Prosecco per person.

Are other drinks included?

The standard package includes the welcome glass of Prosecco. Additional drinks can be ordered on board and charged based on actual consumption.

Alternatively, you can add an unlimited drinks package for your entire group.

Can we add an open bar?

Yes. You can add our unlimited drinks package for €20 p.p. for the entire group.

The package includes unlimited beer, house wines, soft drinks, coffee and tea during the cruise.

Is glühwein available on board?

Yes. Hot glühwein can be arranged on request, making it a great addition to an Amsterdam Light Festival cruise during the winter months.

Can we bring our own drinks?

Please contact us if you would like to bring your own drinks. Depending on the drinks and arrangement, a corkage fee may apply.

The exact boat depends on your group size, boarding location and availability.

Our fleet includes several historic saloon boats and larger classic vessels, allowing us to accommodate both smaller and larger groups.

Are the boats covered?

Yes. The boats used for the Pizza & Prosecco Cruise are covered, protecting your group from rain and typical Amsterdam winter weather.

Are the boats heated?

Yes. Our boats are heated, so you can comfortably enjoy your Pizza & Prosecco Cruise during the winter.

Do the boats have toilets?

Yes. The boats used for this arrangement have toilet facilities on board.

Are the boats electric?

Yes. Our entire fleet is fully electric, allowing you to cruise quietly through Amsterdam’s historic canals.

Where does the private Pizza Cruise depart from?

Private groups can choose from more than 150 boarding locations throughout Amsterdam.

Our standard boarding locations include locations around the Singel and Amsterdam Central Station. Depending on your preferred location, an additional call-out fee may apply.

Can you pick us up near our office or hotel?

In many cases, yes. With more than 150 possible boarding locations, we can often arrange a convenient departure close to your office, hotel, restaurant or event venue.

What will we see during the Amsterdam Light Festival Pizza Cruise?

During the cruise, you’ll experience the Amsterdam Light Festival from the water while sailing through the city’s illuminated canals.

Along the way you can see approximately 20 light artworks, historic canal houses, houseboats, illuminated bridges and famous Amsterdam landmarks.

Will we see every Amsterdam Light Festival artwork?

The festival route features approximately 20 light artworks. The exact route and number of artworks you see can vary depending on your boarding location, canal traffic and operational circumstances.

Is there a guide included?

A guide is not included as standard in the Pizza & Prosecco package. If you would like to hear more about the artworks and Amsterdam during your cruise, an enthusiastic guide can be added on request.

Can we play our own music on board?

Many of our boats have a Bluetooth sound system, allowing you to play your own music during the cruise.

Amsterdam regulations regarding amplified music apply, so the volume must remain within the permitted limits.

Can we decorate the boat?

In many cases, yes. Small decorations can usually be arranged or brought on board, provided they do not damage the vessel or interfere with safety.

Does the cruise operate in rain, snow or cold weather?

Yes. Our cruises normally operate in rain, snow and cold weather. The boats are covered and heated, making them suitable for Amsterdam’s winter conditions.

Cruises are only cancelled when conditions make sailing unsafe.

Can the cruise take longer because of traffic?

Yes. The Amsterdam Light Festival can be very busy on the water. Heavy canal traffic can occasionally cause delays.

We recommend allowing some additional time if you have another reservation, train or activity planned afterwards.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and the weeks around Christmas.

Popular boats and departure times can sell out quickly during the Amsterdam Light Festival period.
