A la carte menu Van De Kaart

If you choose the menu Van De Kaart then you and your guests can choose what you eat during the cruise.

Restaurant Van De Kaart has created a quarterly changing special 3-course menu from which you and your guests can choose an appetizer, main course and dessert. While sailing to the Prinsengracht, our staff takes the order and communicates it to the restaurant. First, we cruise by for the appetizer and then we pick up the main course and dessert. All dishes are enjoyed while sailing and are served on chic tables set with white linen.

1. Salmon teriyaki
Tartare of marinated salmon teriyaki with tempura prawn, avocado, Japanese ginger mayonnaise and wasabi crackers

2. Paleta Iberico de Cebo
Salad of Iberico ham and buffalo mozzarella with salted almonds, balsamic syrup and rocket dressing

3. Vegan antipasti
Grilled artichoke, marinated mushrooms, smoked cocktail tomatoes, olives, hummus and bruschetta

Main courses

1. Sea bass*
Poached sea bass with vegetable lasagna and Dutch shrimps beurre blanc

2. Chicken saltim bocca
Organic chicken, Parma ham and sage with truffle risottini, garden peas and smoked herb butter

3. Veal tartare bearnaise
Tenderly cooked veal stew with pommes duchesse, veal bitterball and bearnaise sauce

Nepalese dal bhat with red lentils, spinach, basmati rice and garlic naan

Special food needs, allergy or diet?

Do you have special dietary requirements or do we need to consider allergies? For us, this is not a problem at all. If you indicate your requirements in advance, our caterers will provide a custom buffet on board or some special dishes prepared separately. This way, someone with an allergy can still fully enjoy a delicious meal.
